Terms of Service

Last updated: April 8, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Learnox platform (learnox.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Users under the age of 16 may only use the platform with verifiable parental or guardian consent. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. User Account

To access paid courses and track your learning progress, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep it up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Learnox is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised use of your account.

Each account is personal and may only be used by a single individual. Sharing account credentials with other people is strictly prohibited.

3. Course Access

Free courses are accessible immediately upon enrolment at no charge. Paid courses require successful payment processing through Stripe before access is granted.

Certain lessons may be marked as previews and are accessible without an account, allowing you to evaluate content before enrolling.

The licence granted to you upon enrolment is personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable. You may not share, sublicence, resell, or otherwise provide access to course content to any third party.

4. Certificates of Completion

Upon completing 100% of a course's lessons, Learnox issues a digital certificate of completion. These certificates are an internal Learnox document and are not accredited, endorsed, or recognised by any governmental body, educational institution, professional association, or licensing authority.

Learnox certificates do not confer any academic qualification, professional credential, or legal status. They may not be used as proof of formal education or professional competency.

Learnox makes no representation or warranty that certificates will be accepted, recognised, or valued by any employer, educational institution, or other third party. Any decision to rely on a Learnox certificate for professional or academic purposes is made entirely at your own risk.

Certificates are personalised and non-transferable. You may not use another person's certificate, claim someone else's course completion as your own, or misrepresent the nature of a Learnox certificate.

Learnox reserves the right to revoke a certificate if it determines that the associated account violated these Terms of Service, including but not limited to account sharing or manipulation of progress tracking.

Nothing in these terms prevents you from sharing your certificate on social media or professional networks such as LinkedIn as evidence of self-directed study and personal development.

5. Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed securely by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. Learnox does not store your card details — all payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS Level 1 standards. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service (stripe.com/legal).

Prices are displayed in EUR. Value Added Tax (VAT) may be added at checkout depending on your location, in accordance with applicable EU regulations.

You are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not materially commenced the course (defined as completing less than 10% of its lessons). This is in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), Article 16(m), which permits exclusion of the right of withdrawal for digital content that has been commenced with the consumer's prior express consent. To request a refund, please contact us at contact@learnox.com. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to share your account credentials with any other person or allow others to access the platform using your account.

You may not download, copy, reproduce, redistribute, or otherwise make course content available to third parties, whether commercially or otherwise, without Learnox's prior written consent.

You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the platform through automated means.

You may not use the platform to transmit spam, malicious code, or any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

Violations of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension and, where applicable, legal action.

7. Intellectual Property

All course content, including text, video, graphics, code examples, and structural elements, is the intellectual property of Learnox or its respective content authors and is protected by applicable copyright law. The Learnox name, logo, and brand elements are trademarks of Learnox.

Upon enrolment, you are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and consume course content for your own personal, non-commercial educational purposes for as long as your access remains valid under these Terms.

8. Account Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at contact@learnox.com. Upon closure, your personal data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, except where retention is required by law.

Learnox reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account without prior notice if you violate these Terms of Service, engage in fraudulent activity, or otherwise cause harm to the platform or other users. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Learnox platform and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. Learnox does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the platform.

Learnox makes no warranty that completion of any course will result in employment, career advancement, income, or any specific professional or personal outcome. Course content is for educational and informational purposes only. Certificates issued by Learnox are not accredited and Learnox expressly disclaims any warranty that they will be recognised or valued by any third party.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Learnox's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Learnox in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Learnox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Changes to Terms

Learnox may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When material changes are made, we will notify you by email or by displaying a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the platform.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Rechtbank Amsterdam.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence that cannot be derogated from by agreement.
